Your mission

The Global Projects Centre & Asia Pacific (GPC & AP) is Subsea 7's centre of excellence for the execution of its largest projects worldwide.

Within GPC & AP Engineering Function, Design & Analysis Group, "Risers, Installation Analyses and Umbilical" (RIAU) department is currently looking for OrcaFlex Analysis Engineers  to support various studies for both Renewable Projects and Oil and Gas SURF Projects / Tenders / FEED related to Riser Design and Installation Analysis.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Perform in-place design analysis (e.g. Extreme, Fatigue, Interference etc.) for SCR and SLWR.
  • Perform in-place analysis of static flexibles system (connector load definition, route verifications etc.)
  • Perform Installation Analysis of Flexibles, Umbilical, Power Cable, Subsea, Mooring line, towing analysis of the floaters, Transportation Analysis of installation/transportation vessels.  
  • Ensure regular reporting to your lead in terms of analysis progress, document status, and QA/QC status of analysis.
  • Actively capture lesson learnt and participate to Continuous Improvement initiative (e.g. develop tools, guidelines, and templates) as required.
  • Ensure that know-how is transferred within the discipline. Attend to discipline meeting as required.

Your profile:

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification with relevant experience, preferably in Offshore industry
  • Proactively undertake responsibility for production of deliverables, which may include design calculations, specifications, procedures, progress reports, engineering support to drafting office, and various 3rd-party submissions.
  • Ability to manage your time, workload, and interfaces.
  • Ability in working in multicultural group.

Desirable further knowledge:

  • Offshore experience
  • Python Programming
  • Flexible pipe System design
  • Umbilical design

Working Condition

  • Majority of the work is carried out in the regional main office site – Suresnes
  • Offshore / Off-site location during project Execution phase as required.
  • Working hours according to local regulation and Company's policy
