We are looking for a Tender Manager to join our Sales & Marketing department in Aberdeen.   

As Tender Manager, you are responsible for the tender process from start to finish, and must ensure that the preparation, submission and clarification of the tender is carried out effectively and within Seaway 7 guidelines and procedures.

You are required to lead your tender team in an exciting and challenging market, and have a high focus on risks and opportunities to achieve the desired outcomes for Seaway 7 and our Clients.

Key responsibilities:

As Tender Manager you:

  • Act as single point of contact for Clients to understand their key drivers and requirements
  • Are responsible for the tender strategy and ensure it is implemented and monitored during the tender
  • Assemble and lead the proposal team and coordinate with other functions to ensure resource is available to support the tender
  • Oversee the full tender process and are accountable ensuring all commercial, contractual and technical elements are in accordance with requirements​
  • Lead meetings with Clients during clarifications rounds, follow-up on actions and negotiations

Capability profile / Qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc degree either in a commercial, contractual or technical field.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience within tenders or projects in offshore renewables or equivalent.
  • Candidates should be commercially and contractually astute with a strong focus on risk management
  • A proven ability to effectively negotiate is deemed a pre-requisite.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate good leadership qualities in the directing of personnel in a manner which is representative of company’s values on people management
  • Strong time management skills and ability to set and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
