DESCRIPTION OF ROLE


The job holder supports the Human Resources function through providing a flexible and professional HR advice throughout the offshore community, predominately servicing our Global Employment Companies.


All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES


Act as a primary contact for all HR Admin matters
Supervises the day to day operations of the HR Admin team to ensure efficient, timely, accurate and cost effective management and delivery of the function’s activities to business and crew
Ensure appropriate work allocation and distribution among team
Review HR Admin processes on an ongoing basis to ensure relevancy and compliance, and recommend changes when necessary
Check and prepare
Monthly HR Audit files for audit by Senior/HR Business Partner
Personnel Action Notice (PAN) and necessary follow up to crew, including letters when necessary
Monthly summary of payroll report to internal clients
Regular audits of SAP information to ensure updated information
Proper record keeping of personnel files
Follow up on absence management with crew and recommend for salary continuation where necessary
Guide the HR Admin team on day to day operations including effective and professional 1st level communication to crew
Support in ad-hoc projects, disciplinary and grievance cases as assigned
Develop a constructive and professional relationship with all stakeholders
Ensure accuracy and compliance of all HR data (manual and electronic)
Support the standardisation, compliance and efficiency of functional policies, processes and systems across Subsea 7
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of the Global Employment Company

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE


Recognised Degree or equivalent preferred
Must have experience and knowledge of HR systems (preferably SAP)
Experience in HR operations including HR Shared Services
Effective supervisory and team leadership skills
Excellent customer service skills
Able to lead and mentor a team
Good interpersonal skills to deal effectively with internal stakeholders and crew

Support standards and procedures for the relevant function
