Subsea 7 is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Tax Accountant. Reporting to Finance Manager, you will be supporting the daily Finance and Accounting related topics for Turkey.
The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for the provision of regular financial information in compliance with Group guidelines and local financial reporting regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure continuous compliance with all Finance policies, process and procedures and promote best practice
- Perform WHT review of vendor / intercompany invoices and ensure the correct withholding tax rates are applied
- Reconciliation and payment for intercompany invoices
- Preparation and submission Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax and VAT returns in coordination with Tax advisors
- Provide support / guidance to cost control teams on project tax matters.
- Utilizes the knowledge management tools available to assist Finance to capitalize upon lessons learned and to perform in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and integrity consistently
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 5-8 years of hands-on Tax Accounting experience, ideally in the energy industry
- SAP FI Key user
- CPA certificate is a plus
- Advanced MS Office user
- Excellent working knowledge of local labour laws and regulations
- Excellent Communication and People skills
- Proactive and curious. Willingness to understand the decision drivers, Challenge the business, and process data inputs.
- Fluent in Turkish and English, French will be an advantage
