Subsea 7 Norway AS has a requirement for a Logistics Coordinator to work as part of the Supply Chain team based in Stavanger.

 

Key responsibilities:

The candidate will cooperate with projects in order to optimise the utilisation of company's own equipment and freight requirements. The candidate will further be responsible for the co-ordination and control of equipment and logistics for all project materials within her/his project. This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: 

  • Coordinate Project Logistics and support projects with among others: transports, customs clearing, follow-up of purchase plans, pack and prepare goods prior to shipment or mobilisations, manifest equipment.
  • Cooperate with other project members in order to identify all necessary equipment, own equipment and equipment to be hired
  • Ensure that all necessary certificates and documents are in place and establish a certificate/documentation package
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly marked and that Goods Receipt is done (at any location) for all equipment related to vessel mobilisation/demobilisation
  • Report Over, Short and Damage when necessary
  • Create Delivery Notes, Manifests and proper Customs Clearance to ensure full control over all project materials
  • Co-operate with in-house warehouse and other locations/sites where project materials will be stored, including proper packing, preservation and marking of project materials
  • Be responsible for receiving, control and return of all Client Provided Items (CPI)

Qualifications:

  • Education within Logistics (Logistics experience can compensate for education)
  • High degree of computer literacy
  • Fork lift license (min 5T+)
  • Knowledge of DnV / Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority rules for lifting, lifting components and certificates
  • Ability to detect and analyse critical items for the project execution
  • Clear and effective oral and written communications skills in both Norwegian and English
  • Understanding of clients’ needs and ability to suggest and apply “fit for purpose” solutions
