Deputy Finance Manager

Location: Istanbul- Turkey

Subsea 7 is looking for an expert Deputy Finance Manager, responsible for optimising and sustaining financial performance.

The Deputy Finance Manager oversees accounting operations, produces accurate and meaningful reports on financial performance, position and prospects, and improves current practices to maximise efficiency.

The Finance Manager is accountable for planning, coordinating and delivering all finance activities across all projects and countries within scope.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides strategic and financial guidance to ensure the financial objectives are met or exceeded
  • Enforces all relevant policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control in the scope
  • Assesses, manages, and minimises financial exposures related to projects execution or country operations
  • Provides financial support and insights to enable critical business decision making
  • Plans, organises, manages, and continuously improves processes in accordance with Subsea 7 global ways of working
  • Facilitates the execution of the Business Unit budget and plan by setting clear and realistic objectives for direct reports
  • Provides strategic direction, leadership, operational supervision and mentoring to the finance team

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or related field
  • CPA certificate with min 5 years
  • 3 years of team leadership
  • 3 years of expertise using SAP FI

PERSONAL SKILLS

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong ethic and compliance mindset
  • Creative problem solving - able to suggest and develop new methods and ways of working
  • Understanding of clients’ needs and ability to suggest and apply “fit for purpose” solutions
