Looking for a rewarding career as a Project HSE Engineer? Join our international team at Seaway7, a global leader in the delivery of bottom-fixed offshore wind farm solutions. As a Project HSE Engineer, you'll be responsible for coordinating Health, Safety, Environment matters on both cable and foundation installation projects. You'll help to create a positive HSEQ culture within the organization and ensure that all project activities meet all regulatory requirements and our clients' expectations.

 

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting our Work Safe Home Safe program
  • Supporting the implementation of the management system
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients with HSE-related questions
  • Identifying and managing HSE risks for the company and individual projects
  • Investigating and following up on incidents and near misses
  • Conducting HSE audits and training sessions
  • Maintaining legal compliance registers
  • Providing project HSE deliverables
  • Capturing and capitalizing on Lessons Learned to mitigate risk and promote safety and integrity consistently.
  • Monitor supplier HSE performance
  • Reporting of Project HSE performance
  • Consult with Project Team in all HSE matters
  • Collaboration with peers in HSE

 

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A NEBOSH, NVQ6, or equivalent qualification
  • At least three years of experience in a similar position in the offshore construction or renewable wind sector
  • Experience with ISO 14001 based environmental management systems and ISO 45001 based safety management systems, as well as legal compliance and risk management
  • The ability to write project HSE documentation and assess and audit third-party HSE management systems (qualification as an auditor is preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to write reports in English in a clear and coherent manner
  • A proactive and self-starting mentality.
