Operation Engineer

Location: Al Khobar- KSA

Subsea 7 is looking for talented Operation Engineers to join our team in Saudi Arabia reporting to the KSA Operation Manager.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as liaison between RMO and Subsea 7.
  • Ensure operations related activities are planned, performed efficiently, cost effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure work conducted in KSA complies with Subsea 7 standard, relevant country rules, regulations, and in accordance with specific Saudi Arabia requirements.
  • Provide support to Marine Base when required.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project entities within the scope of IK operations department.
  • Organize in collaboration with operation logistic team, vessel mobilization, material and equipment, fuel and vessel services.
  • Assist In Kingdom and Out Of Kingdom Port Captains and Port Engineers as required
  • Assist in SOW/PR preparation for operations department.

 

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • M.Sc or B.Sc in Civil or Mechanical engineering, or Marine engineering focused on marine structures
  • Experience from the marine/offshore/oil & gas industry is preffered

 

PERSONAL SKILLS

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Creative problem solving - able to suggest and develop new methods and ways of working
  • Sound communication skills – able to communicate ideas and results to various stakeholders both in written reports and in meetings, presentations etc.
  • The ability to work in a team as well as individually with a minimum of supervision
  • The ability to organize and prioritize own work and as such have responsibility for discrete work packages ongoing simultaneously
  • Understanding of clients’ needs and ability to suggest and apply “fit for purpose” solutions
