Seaway7 is looking for a Business Controller (Onshore) on a full time, staff basis, located in our Zoetermeer offices. We do have team members sat in Aberdeen & Oslo so would also consider applicants from these locations.

As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for the monthly reporting for your assigned departments, including developing budgets, forecasts and providing variance analysis as required.



  • Reviews and categorises monthly transactions, evaluates and calculates journal postings, and monitors performance against forecast and budget
  • Actively communicates with departmental budget holders and Human Resources to plan, monitor and advise on financial performance
  • Analyses and investigates variances and takes appropriate action when needed to ensure the accuracy of financial data
  • Supports the team in compliance with the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements and ensures expectations are met within set deadlines
  • Confident explaining financial information to non-finance personnel
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities to ensure best practice
  • Supports with internal and external audit processes



  • Previous work experience within a similar environment
  • Highly numeric, detail orientated with effective planning and organising skills
  • Proven communicator in English (both spoken and written)
  • Skilled computer user (Excel)
  • Experience/knowledge of SAP (this isn’t a hard requirement)
  • A Bachelor’s or Masters degree in finance
