Subsea7 is looking for an organised and proactive Training Coordinator to join our team in Singapore.  This is a full-time role, initially working on a contract basis for one year, with likely extension beyond this.

 

What will you be doing?

The Training Coordinator will work as part of the Offshore Crewing Services Training team, providing day to day transactional administration support to client groups including planning and booking training, ensuring standards are maintained and that the required level of competency is achieved. They will be responsible for the quality, timeliness and accuracy of the work produced and support the coordination of all learning and development activities.

  • Acting across disciplines to ensure delivery of training needs and support discipline development schemes.
  • Planning and coordinating training globally for a variety of skills-based training requirements through external and internal suppliers.
  • Ensuring all mandatory training requirements are delivered in line with legislative expiry periods.
  • Ensuring all training requirements and requests are booked and completed within the desired timescales. This includes booking schedules for training and arranging logistics such as flights and accommodation if required.
  • Updating internal training databases with the planned training events and certification details.
  • Ensuring that the administration of all records/documentation is carried out in line with the required standards and maintained. 
  • Performing general administrative functions including routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate input of monthly payroll information for training activities.
  • Fulfil any additional administrative tasks as required to support the Learning and Development team / client group. 

 

What experience would we like you to have?

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Training & Logistics coordination and administration for offshore crew.
  • Possess effective administration skills with good attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Be able to demonstrate a good level of initiative with the ability to identify and highlight potential issues in advance of any issues arising. 
  • Previous experience of SAP and Onboard Tracker, or similar people management system.
  • Be IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
