Operations Personnel Logistics Coordinator  (OPLC)

Role Summary:

This position is responsible for the coordination of the mobilization and demobilization of personnel in the Angola Operations. The key objective is to ensure a smooth mobilization of contractors, employee, visitors in the Angola Operations. Good relationship with internal and external customers and ensuring that all the actions are completed and fully delivered to the operations team, respecting budget limits. 


  • Assist in coordinate all technical aspect of mobilization, demobilization of the marine spread and/or equipment for the offshore project.
  • Assist on the oversees crew change operations in line with rotations and planned schedules
  • Acts as focal point for nominated project between onshore and offshore, team or department, subcontractors in relation to the movement of personnel
  • Booked and reserves appropriate transport and ensures that all personnel have correct check-in details
  • Produce and distribute as appropriate Weekly/Monthly summary reports, regarding visa matters
  • Create/structure a weekly report outlining visa status in detail - invitation letter, LOI’s and work Visas.
  • Provide updated information and advise expatriates concerning visa processes
  • Inform individual expats about their visa status or any changes on the date of issue, invitations and others.
  • Lease with visa agent and advise management on changes in work visa process.
  • Responsible for a interface with SME/ MIMPET.
  • Work closely with the Strategic Resourcing department to ensure that newspaper adverts are done to justify the hiring of the expats in accordance with MINPET regulations;
  • Responsible to review the cost of the accommodation of visitors and operational personnel and find better quotations;
  • Responsible to make all the travel arrangement for the personnel within Angola locations;
  • Responsible to make all the transportations arrangements for the visitors and operations personnel within the Angola locations;
  • Participates in all initiatives with QHSE in order to improve the process of welcome of visitors and any operations personnel;
  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance of data (manual and electronic)
  • Participates in initiatives as and when required
  • Develops self and encourages development of others
  • Reacts quickly to last-minute changes in planned personnel logistics in a calm yet efficient manner
  • Participates as part of the office-based emergency response team in the event of an emergency situation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Educated to Bsc Business Management or Administration;
  • Experience in customer service will be appreciated
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Fluent in Languages: Portuguese and English
