What is the role?

The Warehouse Coordinator supports our handling of goods in and out of the warehouse. This role will be based in Taichung Port, Taiwan.

This is a 2 year contract position, with option to extend.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Monitor, inspect (if required) and register all inbound/outbound materials
  • Ensure a complete material reconciliation of all materials for mobilization and upon the completion of a project, and oversee the storage, disposal and/or return of surplus materials
  • Oversee the storage of required project materials, under required conditions
  • Provide regular updates inventory to project teams and/or internal disciplines about tracking and tracing of materials, location and expedite as required
  • The requisitioning of spares, materials, consumables and rental equipment to support the project
  • Containers’ storage management including movement, storage capacity, storage location updating
  • Rental Equipment Monitoring
  • Preservation of material and warehousing (permanent items)
  • Ensure safe operation of the storage warehouse
  • Execute and provide material control procedures and documents
  • Initiate, develop and execute plans and procedures to improve existing inventory control and material storage/distribution control processes, both on-shore and off-shore

What are we looking for?

  • A good knowledge and demonstrable competency in a similar role.
  • A good understanding and comprehensive working knowledge of Warehouse coordination.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to interact with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Work effectively as part of team and as an individual.
  • Mandarin Language (preferred)
  • To be based in Taichung Port or nearby warehouse area for office & storage warehouse management including port pass application and office supplies
  • Forklift Operator Licence and Drivers licence (preferred)
