This newly created role provides an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and co-ordination skills to help us Make a Difference.

The Administrator (Offshore Resources Learning & Development) will support our highly experienced team whose focus is on developing our global offshore community.

Offshore Resources is our business area which together manages all Subsea7 vessels, equipment and crew working on global projects.  

Based in our fantastic Westhill office and enjoying both flexible and hybrid working, the role is available on an initial six-month contract basis.

What will you be doing?

Enjoying a diverse and challenging opportunity, where you’ll gain experience in, and exposure to, Offshore L&D activities across our offshore worksites.   Duties include:

  • Co-ordinating training activities and learning events including diary management and liaison with training and facilities providers, as well as onshore and offshore colleagues.
  • Supporting tasks around the creation and implementation of Diversity and Inclusion strategies.
  • Supporting the outputs of Offshore Development Projects.
  • Responding in person and electronically to first line enquiries from a range of stakeholders, from senior management to our global offshore workforce.
  • Preparing information associated with training records and statistical reporting.
  • Facilitating the Offshore Development data management process.
  • Supporting data analysis and processing for both onshore and offshore talent reviews.
  • General administrative support of team plans, projects and reporting.

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, maintains collaborative relationships.
  • Approachable, can liaise with multi-cultural colleagues at all levels as well as external providers.
  • Demonstrates initiative and ownership to work unsupervised, will support wider team activities.
  • Pro-active planning and organising skills, able to identify and effectively prioritise workload and successfully meet multiple, often competing deadlines.
  • Flexible to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced 24/7 global business.
  • Able to work with detail and accuracy, and to create and manage information.
  • Solutions based, committed to continuous improvement.
  • Experience gained within a L&D or HR environment is advantageous but not essential. 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and Power Automate is advantageous but not essential
