The Graduate Development Scheme

As a Commercial Graduate you will join one of the key commercial departments. The departments in this programme include Project Services, Tendering and Supply Chain Management.

 

The departments

Project Services:

This function is part of the Projects and Operations group and comprises Cost Management, Risk and Opportunity, Contract Management and Planning. The functions are responsible for the consistency of standards, guidelines and procedures across all our projects and operations, develop best practice and share knowledge among projects and operations.

 

Tendering:

The overall task in Tendering is to secure order intake for Subsea7 Norway.

The Tendering department is responsible for compilation, submission and negotiation of the Tender submission from receipt of requests from Clients, through clarifications and negotiation, to award and handover to the execution teams, in line with Company strategy to maximise the return on assets and minimise risk exposure. Tendering is part of an overall Sales & Marketing Department, together with business functions of Market Analysis and Business Planning and Business Development

 

Supply Chain Management:

The supply chain organisation is responsible for the negotiation, establishment and execution of subcontracts, purchasing of standard products in addition to chartering and logistic services on a project level. The department is also responsible for development of local strategies and relationship with key suppliers and for preparation of frame agreements for standard and non-standard products. 

Our graduates

We are looking for graduates in the areas of BSc/MSc/MBA in Economics/Finance, SCM, Quantity Surveying, Business and Legal Studies, Logistics or Engineering with a related commercial subject.

The Commercial Graduate Development Scheme allows the graduates to gain a variety of experiences, which include various training sessions and networking events in addition to on-the-job development. All graduates are assigned a buddy.

The positions are based in Stavanger with onboarding in September 2024.
