What is the role?

Subsea7 are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Resources Planning & Support Coordinator to join our Pipeline Group (PG) team on a full time, permanent basis located at either our Sutton, London or Suresnes, Paris office. PG are responsible for delivering fit for purpose rigid pipeline installation analysis to projects and tenders supported by the PG with specific focus on safe and cost-effective installation operations.

As an Engineering Resources Planning & Support Coordinator you will support PG’s Installation Engineering function with the planning of engineering resources and monitoring of engineering productivity metrics. Alongside this you will assist with the co-ordination of the department activities. Another important aspect will be to plan and organise training for the global installation engineering team, for example as the Graduate Development Scheme.

What will you be doing?

This will be a varied role and one that will adapt to the needs of PG as our business evolves but some tasks you will be involved in include:

  • Establish, maintain, and follow up plans/networks and resources for new and established projects in accordance with Subsea7 planning procedures.
  • Manage, interpret, and present data on engineering progress monitoring and engineering department resource planning.
  • Coordinate and establish (with Engineering Managers & Teams Managers) the requirements and planning for engineering resources for new and established projects.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed histograms for short and long-term planning of engineering resources.
  • Assist Team Managers and Engineering Managers to plan and implement training plan for the global team.
  • Assist with administration and organisation of the engineering department.

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant Business Administration or Engineering subject is preferable.
  • An advanced level of Microsoft Excel skills and be proficient in using software such as SharePoint, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Power BI.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role working in the subsea or energy industry and understand engineering practices within that industry.
  • Good analytical skills and a knowledge and understanding of business analysis and planning.
  • A proven ability to effectively evaluate, organise and prioritise your own workload.
  • Have great interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate, in English, across all levels of stakeholders both internal and external.
