We are looking for an Electronic Technician to join our team in the dedicated Electronics Workshop at our Greenwell Site, Tullos.
This is a full-time, staff role where you will join a multi-skilled team performing maintenance, repair & servicing on a wide range of ROV and Survey Electronic Equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
What will you be doing?
- Ensure equipment is checked and maintained in accordance with relevant task plans/work instructions.
- Using logical fault-finding techniques at component level.
- Assist in the identification and ordering of suitable spare parts to ensure they are available when required.
- Compile and maintain technical records, reports and logs using the Workshop Request software & SAP.
- Interface with other Workshop disciplines and internal/external clients when required.
- Participate in the planned maintenance of electronic department equipment.
- Provision of technical information to administration team to enable SAP equipment reports to be updated.
What experience would we like you to have?

- Have completed a recognised Trade Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- Studying towards or desire to pursue further electronic qualification at HNC/HND Level
- Knowledge on a wide range of ROV topside & subsea Equipment
- Knowledge on a wide range of Survey Equipment
- Fault Finding techniques to component level
- IT literate – proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Effective communication/interpersonal skills
