Your mission

The Global Projects Centre East (GPC East) is Subsea 7's Centre responsible for executing all projects in Africa, Mediterranean, Middle East, Asia and Australia.

Within the Quality department, The regional Senior Quality Manager lead, execute and manage the development, implementation and improvement of Regional Quality Management, Central Quality and Quality Programs in compliance with Subsea7 BMS, Quality related technical standards and other applicable governance requirements to ensure effective, efficient and sustainable Quality performance in delivering regional-managed projects and elevate regional Quality practices to be on par with industry while reinforcing Quality Culture for regional-managed projects to drive the region as Centre of Excellence in Projects Delivery.

Regional Senior Quality Manager is expected to undertake an active and visible role in the day-to-day oversight of our safety performance, and to ensure our Safety Value is delivered consistently throughout region.

Your main missions will be:

  • Establish and improvement of regional Quality ways of working. Strategize and spearhead the development, deployment, implementation and improvement of regional Quality ways of working by setting up appropriate methodology, system, tools and practices to support sustainable Quality leadership, performance and compliance for execution of region-managed projects. This includes actively championing Quality Assurance activities and the 23 Elements of Predictable Performance.
  • Quality Performance Analysis & Reporting. Formulate and execute Quality performance analysis and reporting through effective methodology and analysis on key focus area, trending and predictive intervention or solutions to safeguard stakeholders’ interest and support project delivery excellence.
  • Establish and implement Quality Assurance, Surveillance & Project Technical Solutions. Formulate and execute Quality Assurance, Surveillance and Technical Solutions through establishment of regional Integrated Audit Plan and Quality Surveillance Program ensuring project compliance to BMS, regional’s processes/procedures and relevant project governance requirements.
  • Provide competent Quality technical resources for project delivery. Strategize delivery of Quality resources to projects through manpower loading rationalization, acquisition of niche skills, staff competency development or enhancement program to support timely delivery of services or solutions.
  • Maintaining and improvement of regional Quality Management sub-skill deliverables. Lead the execution, review and improvement of regional Project Quality Management sub-skill through structured capability development and competency enhancement program to ensure sustainable of competent Quality practitioners to continuously support regional projects. Responsible in the development and appointment of Quality Technical Authority for sustainability of skill in the organization.
  • Establish and implement regional Quality Strategy and Program. Strategize and Lead the development of regional Quality Strategy and Program through formulation of strategic initiatives, effective communication and execution of improvement measures to innovate solutions, continuous improvement and create competitive advantages for the region.
  • Networking and relationship building. Foster and sustain effective working relationships and rapport with interested parties.
  • Good Governance. Enforce the implementation of applicable Subsea7 procedures and guidelines and affect the compliance to statutory and legislative requirements to safeguard Subsea7 interest, image and reputation.
  • Codes of Conduct, Business Ethics and HSEQ Policies. Communicate, interpret and champion the execution of the objectives and provisions of the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSSEQ), Codes of Conduct, Business Ethics policies and undertake appropriate mitigation and/or intervention programs to safeguard business operations, high staff discipline and industrial harmony.
  • Leadership and Capability Development. Drive the development of competent working team that will enhance and sustain staff capabilities in achieving high performance delivery to ensure internalization of the right leadership and capabilities in executing their jobs.
  • Mindset, Behaviour and Culture. Develop and implement distinctive mindset, behaviour, and culture to achieve high work performance by adoption and implementation of value interventions, tools and methodologies to promote and instil high sense of commitment, ownership, integrity and loyalty that will contribute to operational excellence.

Your profile

  • Professional qualifications – at least a Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or equivalent.
  • Experience of the subsea, offshore or a related industry, including holding a management position with line management responsibility.
  • Possess excellent working knowledge and relevant experience in the Quality Management System, Project Quality Management and preferably on other multi-disciplinary aspects of project management.
  • Experience in professional team development.
  • Strong negotiation and people skills and inter-personal relations with stakeholders and Clients.
  • Extensive technical quality experience in a quality Management role.
  • Auditing and Quality Management qualification, preferably IRCA certified lead assessor.
  • Visionary attributes to deliver strategic change.
