Lead and support Supply Chain Logistics activities on regional projects (Freight Forwarding, project logistics, in-country logistics, transportation, handling, storage, customs clearance, quarantine management…).

Issue and follow logistics requests with up with Projects, Operations department, Internal Departments, and agent(s).

Monitor and guide on evolution of laws and regulations relating to logistics and customs in at origin and destination locations.

Develop the documentation, guidelines and procedures related to Shipping, Project Logistics, Customs and Quarantine Compliance and general Freight Forwarding.

Maintain a strong archive system, records for all Freight forwarding files, shipments from requests, including customs declaration and associated documents.

Participates in initiatives such as development of tools & process.

Follow up & report all project’s cost commitments, related to Logistic activities, to the Logistics Lead, Project SCM Manager and Cost Controllers.

Participate in selection of suppliers on Projects in line with internal processes.

Control and administration of Suppliers and subcontractors.

Support identification and promotion of synergies between Projects, departments in relation to Logistics activities.

Logistics elements associated to Tender deliverables (Develop Transportation Plans, costing sheets, benchmarks, guidance to support Tenders).

Ensure all tools and systems are updated with shipping status and relevant documentation.

Promote HSE within SCM and ensure all logistics activities are properly assessed and performed in safe manner.

Ensure all logistics operations are anticipated, well prepared, monitored and done efficiently as per HSES policy.

Contribute to creating a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct.

Previous experience in a freight forwarding/project logistics role.

Relevant experience executing logistics scopes on large Projects.

Good knowledge of applicable Government Agency regulations including customs and quarantine process, FTA’s (Free Trade Agreement), CoO (Certificate of Origin) and TCO (Tariff Concession Orders) assessments.

Commercial Skills: Ability to determine requirements, source pricing, analysis logistics cost spend and deliver value for project shipments.

Relationship Management: Ability to build internal relationships across multiple project teams to deliver effective and cost-efficient project freight movements.

Strategic Sourcing: Ability to negotiate long term agreement with freight forwarding, Stevedore’s, Transportation Companies, and other key logistics subcontractors.

Good communications and ability to prioritize workload.

Knowledge of Health, Safety & Quality.
-
ERP and Tracking Systems experience.
