We are now hiring Base-Vessel Logistics Coordinator to strengthen our SCM department.

The job holder shall support the SCM Logistic Managers efforts to develop the logistics group services for maximising the company’s present and future profitability. This support includes, but is not limited to, the development, maintenance of:

  • Procedures for ensuring quality and safety of the work performed as defined in the company HSEQ, Business and Ethics policies and access to and knowledge of applicable procedures, rules and regulations
  • The group’s “know how” facilitating transfer of experience to projects, and transfer of experience from projects to the department
  • Identify and implement improvements.
  • Identify synergies and savings.

The Base-Vessel Logistics Coordinator reports to the Subsea7 Logistic Manager and to the Project/Base Manager in dedicated projects.

The tasks you will solve

The job holder shall co-operate with other project logistics to optimize the utilization of company’s own equipment and freight requirements. The job holder shall further be responsible for the co-ordination and control of equipment coming of or to be mobilised onto dedicated vessels, support project logistics for all project materials to be mobilised and demobilised to same dedicated vessels. This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:

- Co-operate with project logistics to identify all necessary equipment, own equipment and hired equipment and make it ready for mobilisation.

- Support and control project equipment through delivery and storage at the Base to mobilisation and demobilisation.

- Ensure that all equipment is properly marked and that Goods Receipt is done (at any location) for all equipment related to vessel mobilization/demobilization.

- Support projects with preparation, packing, mobilising and demobilising project equipment.

- Co-operate with in-house warehouse and project logistics where project materials will be stored, including proper packing, preservation and marking of project materials. Ensure that equipment that shall be mobilised are ready at site in good time prior to vessel arriving.

-During Mobilisations/Demobilisations ensure all project related and vessel related equipment which is manifested comes on/off the vessel.

-Be present on site as part of the mob/demob team during project (Dedicated vessel) mob/demob, back-to-back with project logistics.

-Import, export, and shipment of Vessel related (non-project related) equipment and materials.

What we want from you:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in offshore / SCM related project work
  • Forklift certificate up to 10Te
  • Certificate for use of Overhead crane
  • Ability to understand practical work and have a high level of independence
  • Knowledge of DNV / Arbeidstilsynets rules for lifting, lifting components and cerftificates
