DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE

The GPC Project Control Systems Specialist has a centralised role supporting multiple complex projects delivering their predicted performance – Budget & Time. The role requires an entrepreneurial go-getter mindset with effective communication skills to work with relevant stakeholders, to build databases and digital tools.

All personnel are expected to adhere to local HSEQ codes and practices and Subsea 7 Code of Conduct.

 

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will cover the following key deliverables/activities.

Commercial success

Project Risk Management

  • Establish framework and facilitate project commercial risks brainstorm identification with relevant key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that all risk limits are adhered to and support identifying required mitigation actions.
  • Keeping up to date to the current risks/opportunities and associated actions.
  • Assisting in monitoring the significant risks and opportunities within the business, ensuring that they are transparent to project management & senior management.
  • Contributing to the month and quarter-end analysis activities with PMT.

 

Time management

Project Convergence Plan

  • Establish framework and facilitate Convergence Plan brainstorm with relevant key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that all key gates/deliverables are adhered to and align with Project baseline.
  • Ad hoc support to projects to update the Convergence Plan tool as required.

 

Project Performance Dashboards

  • Establish framework to identify KPI’s set (Level 1, 2, 3) with Project Management.
  • Data wrangling – ETL, extract data from various sources and convert into workable format.
  • Data visualisation – Converting data sets into meaningful, user-friendly visualisations.

 

Compliance - Process

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationship with different functions, e.g OPS, SCM, FAB, Planning & Cost Control.
  • Participate in tools enhancement.
  • Ensure control systems alignment with business management systems (BMS).

 

PROFILE

  • University degree in engineering, business management or economics discipline.
  • Good understanding of EPCI Project environment // Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong and solid knowledge of MS Office suite: Power BI and Excel, VBA skills is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate concisely to project management and function senior management.
  • Highly organised, good attention to details and ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Analytical mind and good numerical skills.
  • Fluent in English, French and Portuguese is a plus.
