The Electrician is responsible for the daily operations of a vessel’s electrical department, including maintenance and repair activities, coordinating with the Engineering Department. You will support the team in the safe operation of the vessel electrical and electronic equipment. All our people are expected to contribute to creating and positive health, safety, environment, and quality culture at Subsea7, ensuring familiarity and adherence to policies and practices.
We are seeking candidates who want to understand the environment in which we operate in and support effective delivery of our offshore projects, building effective and trusting two-way relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have a desire to develop yourself, building individual effectiveness and capability to change and deliver.
Applicants will need relevant academic qualifications or evidence of having completed an appropriate apprenticeship or similar compliant with Section A-III/6 of the STCW Code. They also need the experience of working on Jack-up vessels, as well as on PLC control and Diesel Electric Propulsion
