Your mission
The Global Projects Centre East (GPC East) is Subsea 7's Centre responsible for executing all projects in Africa, Mediterranean, Middle East, Asia and Australia.
Within the Reporting GPC-East team, the Cost Controller is in charge of checking and monitoring costs of Suresnes OOC and Overheads departments to prevent any overrun costs compared to budget and provide relevant variances analysis. The perimeter covers approximately twenty departments.
Your main missions will be:
- Supporting departments :
- Follow up of headcounts and allocation on projects, liaising with HR and departments heads.
- In charge of monthly closing in a timely manner : making sure of the correct location of expenses, preparing accruals, estimating the rolling forecast, analysing variances to Budget and to previous forecast. The Cost Controller will be the main point of contact for every question on her/his perimeter.
- Preparation and communication of Monthly Department Reports to departments heads, aux responsables de départements, developing a Business Partner role to the departments.
- Preparation of annual Budget :
- Consolidating the departments needs as per the commercial plan for the upcoming year.
- Assisting the managers building their budget, challenging budget
- Computation of standard rates
- Continuous improvments of the reporting process on the perimeter, to allow efficiency gains, and more time for analysis.
Your profile
- Master’s degree
- 4–5 year of experience in Management Control, in an international environment.
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas sector would be a plus.
- Good command of Excel; knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Your interpersonal capacities (rigorous, organized, autonomous, curious), your team spirit but also your analytical skills in cost control will be your best assets to succeed
- Fluent English required for this position, French is a plus.
