During the first two years, you will rotate across various departments such, as contracts, tendering and finance.  This will provide exposure across a wide range of SCM activities through a mix of formal training sessions, on-the-job development, mentoring, individual assignments and personal development. We are Seaway7, a diverse group of team players, change makers and leaders in the delivery of fixed offshore wind projects. Seaway7 has an exciting opportunity for graduate level candidates interested in Supply Chain Management. This is a full time, staff role, located in one of the following offices;

  • Zoetermeer, The Netherlands
  • Oslo, Norway
  • Aberdeen, UK
  • Leer, Germany

Launch a rewarding career in renewable energy, addressing some of the globe’s largest offshore fixed wind projects. Applicants are required to be able to start their journey with us in August 2024.

 

WHAT WILL THE PROGRAMME INVOLVE

On-the-job development

  • Through on-the-job training you will develop key capabilities related to SCM through rotations in different functions
  • You will participate in a wide range of SCM activities including:
    • Negotiation and award of subcontracts
    • Subcontract management
    • SCM strategy development to win new projects
    • Requesting and evaluating proposals from suppliers
    • Participate in visits to and audits of suppliers globally
  • During this time, you will become proficient in our systems and gain experience in wider business processes
  • You will participate in project tasks to improve your presentation skills and network with Seaway7 Engineering graduates including the opportunity to participate in the global off-sites

Training courses

  • Training is provided to gain deeper insights into the key aspects of SCM and other departments you are part of during the graduate programme
  • Training in the work that Seaway7 performs from the managers of each department

Mentoring

  • You will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and support your progression. The mentor will maintain regular contact with you providing direction to ensure you achieve targets and goals

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Degree qualified within the past 3 years, in one of the following areas:
    • Law/Legal studies
    • Business Management
    • Engineering
    • Commercial/Business Engineering
    • Quantity Surveying
  • Good analytical and negotiations skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of diligence during day-to-day business; accurate
  • Commercially astute
  • Great sense of integrity
  • Pro-active, resourceful, with problem-solving abilities
  • Comprehensive IT skills, advanced user Microsoft Office
  • Excellent understanding of spoken and written English
