DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION
Subsea7 has internship positions for engineering students to join us in our Singapore office. This will be a 6 months program that provides a great opportunity to come and work with us; learn about what we do and what it means to work for Subsea7. The prospective interns should apply for the specific work tasks that most suit their interests/career goals.
The Sales and Marketing, Tendering department is responsible for tendering activities in Middle East region. The tendering intern roles is to support tendering team to manage and deliver the tenders. Come and join us in Subsea 7.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become familiar with Subsea 7 Business Management System documents.
- Become familiar with Subsea 7 tenders and projects.
- Work in accordance with Subsea 7 approved procedures, using available Tendering tools and in accordance with Subsea 7 Business Code(s) of ethic.
- Be part of the Tendering team in assisting preparation and delivery of tenders and winning projects.
- Intern will be assigned to an experienced Commercial Lead for any ad hoc assignment.
INTERFACES
- Intern Supervisor – Formal reporting of feedback assessment. Frequent informal communications and assessments are required.
- Intern will be assigned to a tender team and work under the direction of an experienced Commercial Lead.
- As part of tender team, the intern will be interfacing with different function, such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Estimating, Quality HSE and others.
CAPABILITY PROFILE – KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURS
- Minimum of enrollment in a Bachelor in any field (Marine, Law, Engineering plus skill but not mandatory)
- Great working attitude, willing to learn and work as a team.
- Contractual skills (plus skill but not mandatory)
- Great communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Microsoft Word and Excel (Power point plus skill but not mandatory)
