Your mission

The Global Projects Centre East (GPC East) is Subsea 7's Centre responsible for executing all projects in Africa, Mediterranean, Middle East, Asia and Australia.

Within the Supply Chain Management department, you will lead the management of the cladded category within the GPC & AP.

Your main missions will be:

  • Have a technical, commercial, and strategic understanding of the Category,
  • Collect and analyze the market intelligence of the Category,
  • Develop and manage the relationships with key Suppliers,
  • Establish the general procurement strategy of the Category for the GPC & AP,
  • Negotiate and maintain the Frame Agreements with strategic Suppliers,
  • Develop specific partnerships to enhance the competitiveness of the GPC & AP,
  • Source new Suppliers to differentiate the GPC & AP against the competition,
  • Propose the procurement strategy on each GPC & APTenders,
  • Manage the consultations and negotiations with Suppliers,
  • Issue the budget recommendation and related Tenders deliverables,
  • Place all Purchase Orders of the Category in case of Contract Award,

Your profile

  • Degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering or Business), Engineer Degree would be a plus;
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years industry experience; Experience in cladded products would be a plus;
  • Good understanding of the overall technical issue and a good knowledge of the offshore industry and its specificities and of complex items;
  • Technical awareness or previous experience in management of complex subcontract would be a plus;
  • In addition to the technical and commercial skills described above, the successful candidate will need to be a strong team player with effective communication and relationship skills, as well as appetite for strategic thinking.
