We are looking for a fantastic Senior CAD Designer to join our team at London office on a permanent contract basis. Reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, the Senior Designer is responsible for creating and implementing complex designs using AutoCAD, Inventor, and other design tools.
What will you be doing?
· Prepare offshore installation method sketches and rigging drawings.
· Interface with other disciplines to obtain input for designs and drawings and to develop clash free designs.

Assist in the identification of technical problems and contribute with possible solutions.

Conduct self-check and team check on drawing/sketches.

Prepare drawings and sketches consistent with good engineering practice and in compliance with company drawing office procedures.

Assist Fabrication as required in the resolution of construction difficulties relating to design problems, clashes, etc.
What experience would we like you to have?

· Technical education related to mechanical, structural, or civil engineering.
· Experience in design/drafting of steel structures.
· Good experience in the use of Autodesk Inventor.
· Proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD.
· Ability to function within a multiple disciplines design team across multiple projects.
· Ability to prioritise, organise and deliver work to deadlines set by management.
· Good working knowledge of other non-technical software e.g. MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
· Sound communication skills in English, both verbally and written.
