Subsea7 has an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our Global Project Centre West HR team. This role will be based from our Sutton office on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Due to the nature of the role and the confidential nature of the data we work with in HR, the successful candidate must have a high level of discretion and awareness of their impact in terms of communicating the right level of information with the right people at the right time. A clear sense of self-awareness is important both in the way we behave and communicate.

The Advisor will report directly to the GPC West HR Manager and support them and the wider team with various project tasks as listed.

 

What will your responsibilities involve?

Learning & Development

  • Planning and communication of local training, including liaison with UK HR Training Coordinator & Mapping out and sharing the Lunch & Learn programme calendar

 

Sutton office event management & delivery of HR projects

  • Organisation and delivery of local Wellbeing initiatives
  • Support to HR Organisational Development Manager in planning and execution of initiatives such as Conversion programme
  • Supporting delivery of other key regional people needs such as Graduate development, Festival of Learning planning and Mentoring programme
  • Collaboration with other Subsea7 regions to align our Sutton initiatives where applicable

 

Early Careers

  • Coordination of the Schools Programme for GPC West in London
  • Support delivery of external University events, including developing new relationships and new opportunities
  • Interfacing with UK Early Careers Recruitment Specialist to align and deliver UK wide initatives

 

What are we looking for?

  • A previous experience in a HR Project Coordination/ HR Advisor role
  • Applicants must have the ability to prioritise workload, be open to work on a variety of tasks and have a “can do” approach to HR service delivery.
  • Comfortable in the use of HR Information systems & other platforms including SAP, Cornerstone, SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Pro-active in approach and highly visible to key business stakeholders
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to balance responsibilities and ensure effective delivery of priorities to meet operational demands
  • Ability to produce work of a high standard which is accurate and with an emphasis on attention to detail
