The tasks you will solve:
- Provide materials and fabrication support to projects, tenders, studies, technology development activities and assistance to other disciplines within Subsea7
- Lead technical discussions with Suppliers and Clients
- Support supply chain management (SCM) and be the technical responsible for procurement packages (e.g. linepipe, forged components, induction bends, fabrication of spools and structures etc.)
- Participate in manufacturer’s testing and qualification activities
- Site visits at fabricators and manufacturers
- Contribute to knowledge management and improvement of internal procedures
- Train and support younger engineers within our team
What we require from you:
- University degree in Materials Technology or similar
- Minimum three years relevant work experience
- Experience within non-destructive testing (NDT) is an advantage
- A collaborating mindset
- Communicate well, both written and verbal
