The tasks you will solve:

  • Provide materials and fabrication support to projects, tenders, studies, technology development activities and assistance to other disciplines within Subsea7
  • Lead technical discussions with Suppliers and Clients
  • Support supply chain management (SCM) and be the technical responsible for procurement packages (e.g. linepipe, forged components, induction bends, fabrication of spools and structures etc.)
  • Participate in manufacturer’s testing and qualification activities
  • Site visits at fabricators and manufacturers
  • Contribute to knowledge management and improvement of internal procedures
  • Train and support younger engineers within our team

What we require from you:

  • University degree in Materials Technology or similar
  • Minimum three years relevant work experience
  • Experience within non-destructive testing (NDT) is an advantage
  • A collaborating mindset
  • Communicate well, both written and verbal

The position is based in our top modern office in Skøyen, Oslo.
