JOB TITLE:         GPC West Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Coordinator

 

REPORTS TO:    Quality and Performance Manager, GPC West

 

LOCATION:        Onshore

 

This development role forms part of the GPC West HSEQ team and is responsible for coordinating various aspects of HSEQ activity that support the business.

While supporting the wider HSEQ team to centralise, plan and record activities and information, the role will also be required to take ownership for delivery of specific tasks and associated deadlines.

 

Key Responsibilities & Activities

  • HSEQ system administration and maintenance of key HSEQ processes including Local Management Team (LMT) and Quality LMT, Health Checks, audit and inspection programme, emergency response programme, meetings including certification bodies.
  • Undertake analysis of HSEQ performance at country and regional level and assist with development of associated reports and communications.
  • Coordinate manhour reporting on monthly bases for Brazil and Sutton based sites.
  • Assist with coordination and preparation for certification body audit programme and client audits requiring support as required.
  • Coordinate the collation of data and information to support the Management Review process, develop presentation material and develop associated reporting in Synergi.
  • Support the maintenance of the regional HSEQ Sharepoint site.
  • Coordinate regional input to initiatives for example, World Day campaigns, Work Safe Home Safe, and associated reporting.
  • Support the development and coordination of Quality and HSE related tender deliverables.
  • Perform regular follow-up on open HSEQ Synergi cases and actions.
  • Assist with the coordination of HSEQ function delivered training to the region.
  • Support management of GPC West HSEQ documents on the Business Management System.
  • Provide Project HSEQ team members with administrative support as required.
  • Participate in Quality and HSE worksite inspections and assist in associated reporting and action management in Synergi.
  • Provide support to the Customer Feedback process including Synergi case management, analysis, reporting and follow-up.
  • Assist with performing and coordinating Display Screen Equipment assessments and follow-up actions.
  • Support the Facilities team with Quality and HSE case management, including observations, and ensuring office first aid and fire evacuation protocols are robust.
  • Actively participate and support the ‘Wellbeing’ Group in the Sutton office.
  • Coordinate the ‘Time out’ series of talks in the Sutton office by maintaining a calendar and agreed speakers, booking the atrium and setting up the space for events.
  • Develop the PPE process along with maintaining sufficient stock and distribution.
  • Promote the reporting of environmental data to Group for annual sustainability reporting. This includes working with the cleaning company to ensure correct waste data and understanding our buildings energy usage.

  • Operate within the Subsea7 Business Code of Conduct.
  • Operate according to Subsea7 Business Management System.
  • Support standards and procedures for the HSEQ function.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • 2 years minimum relevant experience within the HSE or Quality function and with HSEQ management systems.
  • Interest in developing further within the HSEQ function is essential.
  • Organised, practical and systematic in approach to work.
  • Enthusiastic approach to assisting solve problems and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and effectively.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Good all-round administration and coordination skills are essential.
  • Have a demonstrated background and knowledge of international Quality and HSE standards.
