We are looking for a Document Controller to join our team at our Zoetermeer or Leer office on a full time, staff basis.

As a Document Controller, you'll be responsible for preparing, distributing, and recording all project related documents, in a timely and efficient manner.

 

What you will be doing

  • Work on a project, supported and guided by the document control team.
  • Maintain the internal Document Management System (DMS) on the project.
  • Familiarise and understand contractual requirements for document control.
  • Liaise with external/internal clients and subcontractors to set client document management system and arrange access for the project team.
  • Proactively execute, control, and monitor the document control process in a project.
  • Prepare, distribute, and record all project related documents; i.e. internal documentation, subcontractor documentation, client documentation.
  • Ensure the project team is aware of specific project document control procedures, review cycles and periods, approaching due dates and deadlines.
  • Contribute actively to the development of the document control discipline within Seaway7.
  • Actively liaise with and contribute to the document control team for providing and receiving guidance and support.
  • Coordinate and monitor all supportive and facilitating processes, including the training of the various project team members on both the internal and client DMS.

  • Effective communication skills with an excellent understanding of English, both written & verbal
  • Previous experience as a Document Controller within energy industry
  • Affinity with the renewables industry
  • Proven ability to control documents, procedures, processes, and drawings
  • Advanced user Microsoft Office
  • Experience in working with Electronic Document Management Systems (ProArc or comparable)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
