This opportunity in our Pipelines Group exposes graduates to a variety of experiences, which include formal training sessions and on-the-job development spanning from detailed design engineering to opportunities to work offshore.
Subsea 7 has a large focus on developing both generalists as well as specialists. We provide an environment that promotes and supports the development of broad business skills and technical knowledge, which enables our graduates to work effectively within our global organisation.
Pipeline Group (PG) is the Business Unit within Subsea7 that delivers all of Subsea7’s rigid pipeline installation activities. Supporting projects all over the world, method engineers for PG deliver the installation engineering of rigid pipelines in Reel Lay, S-Lay and J-lay modes.
In the preparatory phase of a project, our engineers perform the work preparation and engineering which involves:
- Produce installation procedures, support installation aids & equipment procurement and management
- Installation rigging calculations and rigging design
- Assist Tendering department with feasibility studies, method statements, manhour estimates, schedule inputs and costing support
- Supporting installation aid procurement, fabrication and testing follow up
Finally, during the project execution our engineers support the operations on board our pipelay vessels where you see your project executed!

What do you need?
- You should possess an engineering degree in areas such as Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Marine/Naval Technology, Offshore Technology or a similar field.
