The HR Resource Planning Senior Analyst will be part of the GPC East HR Team and will be responsible for all aspects of resource planning, developing planning best practices, and resource plans for all GPC East countries and functions.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Develops and implements resource planning strategies to meet project objectives and company deadlines. 
  • Assesses the allocation of resources to various projects within the organisation by working closely with Project Managers, department heads, and HR to ensure optimal utilisation of resources. 
  • Analyses data trends and project requirements to predict future resource needs. Uses data-driven insights to forecast demand for resources.  
  • Supports the allocation of resources thoughtfully, ensuring each project can access the necessary personnel. This involves balancing resource distribution to avoid over or underutilisation. 
  • Creates detailed schedules that outline when and where resources will be needed. Must anticipate conflicts and prepare contingency plans. 
  • Continuous monitoring of resource usage and adjusts allocations in real time to address project shifts and changes in availability.  
  • Works closely with Project Managers and department heads to understand the nuances of each project, ensuring that resource distribution aligns with project objectives. 
  • Works closely with HR to forecast staffing needs and recruit or train additional resources as required. 
  • Works closely with Finance during monthly closing and budget to provide actuals and forecast. 
  • Prepares reports that track resource status, utilisation, and efficiency, providing stakeholders with transparency and insights into resource management. 
  • Strive for operational excellence by identifying opportunities to optimise resource usage.  

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE  

  • Master qualifications in Data Analytics, Business Management or similar is desirable, however those with extensive field experience are encouraged to apply. 
  • 3-5 years' proven experience in resource planning or Project Management roles. 
  • Experience in project driven companies with multi-disciplinary and multinational environment.  
  • Experience with workforce planning software's would be a plus. 
  • Advanced IT skills across Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. 
  • Experience with PowerBI. 
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills. 
  • High-level of attention to detail. 
  • Problem solving and decision-making aptitude. 
  • Fluency in English. French and Portuguese would be an advantage. 
  • Willingness to be flexible with work hours when appropriate to meet operational requirements. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and produce outcomes within monthly deadlines.
