Subsea 7 provides project management, engineering and construction expertise across three operational business units. Through our 2 Business Units - SURF and Conventional, Renewables we are able to provide full energy lifecycle services.
We provide integrated services and we plan and design and ensure the delivery of complex projects in harsh and difficult environments.
People are central to our growth and we are committed to training and developing our people. Through our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Graduate Development Scheme our graduates are able to gain experience within Subsea 7's HSE Department.
We are looking for an Environmental graduate to join our HSE Graduate Development Scheme (GGDS) in September 2024 in our London offices (UK). The Scheme is a 2-year rotational programme, enabling graduates to gain experience of Subsea 7's key Environmental areas such as our Environmental Management System (EMS), biodiversity, circular economy and working with projects to deliver client environmental commitments. The home department for this role will be decided once training period has been completed and it is envisaged that after the rotational training period the candidate will return to specialise in this field.
There are four main elements:
On-the-job development
Through on-the-job training you will develop key capabilities related to EMS, ISO14001 auditing, training, working with clients and interpreting legislation.
Formal training courses
Various formal training courses will be offered such as ISO14001 lead auditing and Safety Leadership. This will be an opportunity to gain deeper insights of some key aspects related to HSE and Sustainability.
Mentoring
You will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and support your progression. The mentor will maintain regular contact with you providing direction to enable you achieve targets and goals.
Personal development
You will participate in project tasks to challenge your presentation and team building skills. Also network with other Subsea 7 Graduates hired in different locations.
During the rotation applicants may have the opportunity for short duration overseas assignment in locations ranging from Brazil, Malaysia, Australia and others, with opportunities for future medium-term overseas assignments.
Applications are now sought from degree qualified candidates who are holding a bachelor’s degree preferably in one of the following:
- Business,
- Environmental or related science
- Sustainability
- Health and Safety
- Law/Legal studies
- Engineering
