We are looking for an experienced and motivated Logistics Lead to join our team at our office in Sutton, London on a staff basis. The Logistics Lead shall perform key role in supporting Subsea7 Tenders, Subcontracting of Logistic services and the SCM Logistics activities in the countries of operation.
What will you be doing?
Tender Support
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines (Engineering, SCM, Fabrication, Operations, etc…) to support the development of the Logistics Cost Models.
- Develops Logistics Cost Models in support of Tenders.
- Cost Model shall cover Transportation Planning for material and equipment and developing associated budget and cost allocation.
- Cost Model for In Country Logistics activities in line with Operational requirements and schedule. Cost model will cover port calls, shore bases, port and handling, personnel movements, logistics, and customs assessment.
- Costing will be developed through Request for Quotations to Logistics Service providers in locations where work will be executed.
- As required, issuance of documentation and procedures to support Logistics tender deliverables.
Logistics Support
- Ensure compliance with all Supply Chain policies, process and procedures.
- Support pre-qualification of suppliers as required.
- Support the issuance of the RFQ for Logistics Services in the regions where we work.
- Performs commercial assessment, normalization and evaluation of offers from suppliers.
- Issuance of bid summary and presentation to internal stakeholders.
- Supports and coordinates evaluations with internal disciplines and stakeholders.
- Overseas negotiations with selected suppliers pre-contract award and through placements of Subcontracts.
- Works pro-actively with internal disciplines to ensure we have robust process to support the Supply Chain Logistics activities in our countries of operation.
- Facilitate regular communication with Logistics personnel in regions where we work.
- Understand specific requirements for the country where project or tender activity will take place.
- Support Logistics budgets, ensure costs are tracked during the Projects and communicate budget versus actual during project.
- Compliance with customs and local laws at origin and destination locations.
- Works in accordance with Subsea 7 Values and Code of Conduct.

- Relevant previous experience in a similar position.
