Subsea is looking for a SAP S4 Equipment Management - Change Manager to join our team on an initial 6 month contract in our Westhill, Aberdeen office.
Subsea7 are embarking on a S/4HANA Trans4mation programme which involves replacing the current ECC solution with SAP S4 Hana together with the associated business process changes across Finance, SCM and Asset Management.
Subsea7 now want to bring additional Asset Management scope into the delivery timeframe of the Trans4mation programme. Two additional projects have been approved to be delivered in parallel to the Trans4mation programme:
- Equipment and Tools Management (ETM) system. Third party SaaS tool to be designed, tested and deployed on top of SAP S4 together with the Subsea7 System Integrator partner. ETM will be deployed globally and provide the management and tracking of our equipment across yards, vessels and projects.
- Material Codification. Third party AI-enabled SaaS tool to be designed, tested and deployed on top of SAP S4 together with the Subsea7 System Integrator partner. The tool will help create a material codification catalogue as well as assist in codifying any future free-text entries into S4.
There is a Change Management Lead for the Trans4mation programme who will oversee the delivery of the change activity for the core programme.
The EMT/ Codification Change Lead will be required to work closely with these roles as well as project team personnel, delivery partners and key business stakeholders to manage change impacts and contribute to the successful adoption of the Asset Management solutions.
What will you be doing?
- Work closely with the Trans4mation Change Lead, the Change Management team from the System Integrator (SI) and 3rd parties to support the development of change management deliverables for the ETM and Codification projects
- Align with the change management strategies, policies, and procedures that have been created to support the S4 related business transformations
- Collaborate closely with project teams, subject matter experts, and business leaders to understand business processes and tailor change management initiatives to meet specific needs
- Drive change readiness activities to equip end-users and key stakeholders with the necessary knowledge and skills to embrace the ETM.next and Codification solution
- Review change impact assessments to identify potential risks, resistance points, and required actions to support successful change adoption
- Support the creation and implementation of effective communication plans and material to disseminate project updates, milestones, and changes to all relevant stakeholders including business leaders, end-users, and IT teams
- Support the management of training to end users (working with 3rd parties for material development, where required)
- Monitor and manage resistance to change, addressing concerns and fostering a positive change environment
- Provide guidance and support to business users, project teams, and management in navigating the change process
What experience would we like you to have?

- Proven experience as a Business Change Manager or in a similar role, driving business change initiatives related to SAP aligned systems
- Experience in change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Experience of working with and managing a System Integrator partner
- Knowledge of SAP applications, modules, and their impact on business processes.
- Strong business influencing skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills and can interface across a spectrum of stakeholders
- Pro-active, self-driven, forward looking and collaborative
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
