Embark on a two-year Graduate Commercial Programme in Aberdeen, Scotland, and enjoy a variety of experiences which include formal global & local training sessions, on-the-job development, mentoring, personal development and offshore/site experience.
Commercial Graduates will join the Global Graduate Development Programme, allowing you to gain a variety of experiences, which include various training sessions and networking events in addition to on-the-job development.

Our selection process is designed to be fair and inclusive. First, we’ll review applications against the essential job criteria. If you meet these, you’ll be invited to complete a short MS Form with screening questions. Applicants who progress from the screening stage will then have their CVs reviewed, and those selected will be invited to an in-person assessment centre at our offices in Aberdeen.

Which departments can you work in?
As a Commercial Graduate, you will join one of our four key commercial departments—Contracts, Finance, Supply Chain Management or Tendering. You will develop the core competencies required for your assigned area while gaining valuable exposure to the wider commercial function, equipping you with the foundations to thrive in your career at Subsea7.
Contracts:
The Contracts function oversees the entire Client contract lifecycle (win / execute / completion). The function is essential in helping Subsea7 deliver complex, high-value projects safely, on time, and within budget, while managing the significant contractual and commercial risks inherent in the offshore energy sector.
Finance:
Finance is responsible for project cost control on a diverse project portfolio and includes the proactive evaluation and determination of a project’s current and projected financial status through the analysis, revision and reporting of costs and revenue associated with a specific scope of work. This covers the development of the operational budget, cost tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, change control and both internal & external reporting on project financial performance. Cost control encompasses the people, processes & procedures and systems to perform cost management and deliver predictable performance.
Supply Chain Management:
The supply chain organisation is responsible for the negotiation, establishment and execution of subcontracts, purchasing of standard products in addition to chartering and logistic services on a project level. The department is also responsible for development of local sourcing strategies and relationships with key suppliers and for preparation of frame agreements for standard and non-standard products.
Tendering:
The Tendering department is responsible for compilation, submission and negotiation of the Tender submission from receipt of requests from Clients, through clarifications and negotiation, to award and handover to the execution teams, in line with Company strategy to maximise the return on assets and minimise risk exposure.
What do you need to have?
- You should possess BSc/MSc/MBA in Economics/Finance, SCM, Quantity Surveying, Business and Legal Studies, Logistics or Engineering with a related commercial subject.
