Subsea7 invites applications for a Crewing Coordinator to become part of our Crewing Team in the Offshore Delivery department, located at our Westhill, Aberdeenshire office. This is a full‑time 12‑month fixed‑term contract with the chance to play a key role in supporting our global offshore operations.

 

In this fast‑paced and people‑focused role, you’ll be at the heart of our offshore personnel logistics - coordinating the full mobilisation and demobilisation process for crew heading to worksites around the world. You’ll work closely with Planners, Vessel Teams, Operations, and Project Resource Managers to ensure our offshore workforce is deployed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

What will you be doing?

 

  • Manning assigned worksites with qualified, certificated and medically fit offshore workers in accordance with National, International and Company specific requirements
  • Closely liaising with the external travel company to book travel requirements for personnel mobilising offshore and ensuring they are in possession of the correct documentation, visas and work permits
  • Liaising with onshore and offshore vessel management to plan and agree personnel movements, crew changes, and engage them where changes of core crew personnel are planned to their specific worksite
  • Maintain reliable scheduling and mobilisation/demobilisation information for personnel in Onboard Tracker ensuring it reflects actual deployment information to allow accurate cost recharge, tax calculations and payroll
  • Liaising with appropriate discipline Planners and Recruitment teams on the sourcing of personnel
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for operational issues for the management and personnel associated with the assigned vessel, efficiently responding to queries from offshore staff
  • Liaising with shipping agents and Subsea7 country management to arrange personnel transfers and other in country services
  • Making periodic visits to assigned worksite to build relationships with offshore personnel and gain familiarity with environment and operations
  • Participation in the department on-call duty rota

  • Understanding of the Offshore Oil and gas Industry including the processes and offshore training required to mobilise and travel personnel to international offshore worksites
  • Adaptable and pro – active with a structured and methodical approach to tasks, with ability to manage workflows and meet tight deadlines
  • Good planning, co-ordination, and organisational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with personnel at all levels
  • Proficient in the use of IT applications, including MS Office Suite and data base systems
