Title: Group Communications Advisor

As Group Communications Advisor, you would promote and protect Subsea7’s reputation as a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services for the energy industry.
You would be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Group’s communications strategy in line with corporate objectives; communications processes and brand guidelines, to ensure messaging and activities are appropriate, consistent and engaging.
Key role responsibilities are predominantly focussed on external communications, supporting:

The development and implementation of Subsea7’s external communications strategy and communications plan, in line with our company strategy

Day-to-day maintenance and development of Subsea7’s official digital communications channels including social media and website

Content creation for official communication channels (including internal channels)

Development and support for marketing communications campaigns and materials including case studies, data sheets, videos, presentations, publications and specification sheets

Commissioning, progressing and completing work with relevant suppliers and agencies including creative designers, web developers, video producers, exhibition contractors, ER consultants, media, copywriters.

To support publication of: press releases and stock market announcements including contract awards, quarterly results and other announcements in line with stock market obligations and timings; features; drafting social media content; management of media enquiries

Collaboration and liaison with client and partner communications teams and other relevant interfaces.

Member of Subsea7’s Global Emergency Response team

External event management / participation at selected exhibitions/conferences/events globally

Maintenance and review of on and offline external branded materials, and photography and video inventory

Brand management – ensures communications activities consistently adhere to brand guidelines

Providing communications advice and support to regions, business areas and corporate functions

You may also be asked to support internal communications activities and events

Other projects and activities as required
What experience would we like you to have?
• Creative, adaptable, and able to maintain composure in a fast-moving communications environment
• Track record in and understanding of the global energy sector (marine sector experience desirable)
• Able to evaluate, engage and deliver at a strategic and operational level
• Previous work within, or on behalf of, a large multinational company (in-house or via agency contract/secondment)
• Capable of working under own initiative (with oversight from team management)
• Strong project management and planning skills – essential in managing work with multiple stakeholders and concurrent projects
• Able to tailor communications to diverse audiences
• Fluent in verbal and written communication in English (CEFR C1 or C2 - is highly advantageous)
• Highly skilled in SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams & Live Events,
• Skills and experience of Adobe Express and/or Canva (minimum);-

Adobe Creative Cloud including Acrobat, InDesign, Premiere Pro (desirable)
