Subsea7 are part way through a global ERP transformation programme which involves replacing the current SAP ECC solutions with more modern SAP and associated platforms. The overall transformation programme is following a Greenfield, Fit to Standard approach.

 

The strategic aim of the ERP transformation programme is to deliver a globally standard set of processes and associated data through modern SAP applications leading to improved efficiency and operation of the business and providing valuable business insights from increased visualisation, analytics and automation.

 

The first element of the ERP transformation programme was the move of our HR data and processes from SAP ECC (and associated applications) to SAP SuccessFactors. This programme was completed late 2024.

 

Subsea7 are looking for an SAP SuccessFactors Specialist to join our IT team, based at our Westhill, Aberdeen on a contract basis.

 

Reporting to our SAP IT HR Lead, the SAP SuccessFactors Specialist will provide technical support for the HR and Payroll modules of SAP (SuccessFactors and ECC) within Subsea7.  The aim is to provide wide SAP HR knowledge and industry experience to help Subsea7 deliver an appropriate and sustainable service support model for our HR function.

What will you be doing? 

•    Provide specialist SuccessFactors support to key users globally.
•    Assist with the delivery of solutions based on business requirements via the change request process.
•    Work closely with other SAP team members to ensure HR and Payroll requirements are communicated as required.
•    Provide SuccessFactors mentoring, support and guidance to team.
•    Configurating and managing the SuccessFactors platform, unit testing of new changes, ensuring documentation is updated accordingly.  
•    Work alongside service support partners for system changes and support.
•    Provide guidance on best practices and emerging trends in SAP SuccessFactors

 

What experience would we like you to have? 

•    Strong functional knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Modules, specifically Employee Central, other modules would be advantageous. 
•    Experience in SAP ECC HR, Time Management and Payroll would be beneficial but not essential.  
•    Domain knowledge in HR processes.  
•    Experience of working in an IT support service for a global organisation. 
•    Experience of working with Service Support partners. 
•    Strong communications skills both verbally and written. 
•    Pro-active, self-driven, forward looking, collaborative, good analytical and problem-solving skill. 
•    Good communication and negotiation skills and can interface across a spectrum of stakeholders.
•    Knowledge of ITIL processes and principles.
