What will you be doing?

 

Subsea7 is hiring a Saudization & HR Representative who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Saudi labor law regulations, Saudization and Client -specific requirements.

The role will manage, monitor and implement strategies to increase the percentage of Saudi nationals within the workforce supporting the organization in maintaining and achieving nationalization targets and alignment with company objectives and contractual hiring agreements with the client while supporting the HR function in handling training & development plans, insurance follow-ups, and employee engagement.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
•    Develop, implement, and monitor Saudization strategies to meet Client  contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
•    Liaise with Client  representatives to ensure compliance with Saudization guidelines.
•    Develop, implement, and monitor Saudization and nationalization strategies to ensure compliance with the government requirements.
•    Maintain up-to-date records and reports on Saudization targets and ratios and provide regular updates to management and regulatory authorities when necessary.
•    Engage with departments and managers to identify staffing needs and propose localization strategies to ensure the recruitment of qualified Saudi nationals.
•    Maintain accurate records of Saudi employees and their career development within the company.
•    Advise management on policies, practices, and procedures related to Saudization initiatives.
•    Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify local talents for filling vacancies.
•    Conduct regular awareness sessions and updates to stakeholders on Saudization targets and initiatives.
•    Coordinate training programs and professional development activities for employees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals by maintaining and building active relationships with training institutes and providers.
•    Manage employee insurance programs, including enrollment, deletion, claims follow-up, and coordination with insurance providers.
•    Support HR function with the Onboarding/Offboarding, performance tracking, and documentation of employee records.

•    Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and ensure effective communication between HR and business functions.
•    Engage as an active member within the Social Committee.
•    Assist in the preparation of HR reports, metrics, and dashboards for management review.
•    Proactively take on any other role related responsibilities that could occur anytime in business.

What experience would we like you to have?

 

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•    Bachelors in human resources or business administration.
•    2-3 years of experience working in HR with workforce planning and saudization.
•    Relevant field certifications is a plus.

PERSONAL SKILLS 
•    Strong analytical skills.
•    Report generation using Excel and Power BI.
•    Creative problem solving - able to suggest and develop new methods and ways of working
•    Excellent communication skills – able to communicate ideas and results to various stakeholders both in written reports and in meetings, presentations etc.
•    Proactiveness and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
•    Understanding of clients’ needs and ability to suggest and apply “fit for purpose” solutions
