What will you be doing?
Role Overview
Subsea7 is hiring a Hook-Up Specialist to work in the Operations Department being in charge to support and coordinate all the Hook-Up activities in the onshore facility. They will oversee managing vendors and subcontractors, as well as maintain good relationship with Client.
In addition, they will oversee developing technical requisition for material and equipment required for hook-up activities, as well as for technical scope of work for subcontracted services.
The Hook-Up Specialist will work in offshore hook-up campaign preparation by developing job cards, material tracker, tie in list, all activities list.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, coordinate and control the execution of Brownfield modification scope in the onshore facility (Electrical and Instrumentation works, Piping/Scrapper works, general Demolition and Installation works) performed by subcontractors, ensuring the management of the interfaces with all construction disciplines and engineering departments, overseeing the availability of the construction materials and equipment and verifying that works is correctly carried out in accordance with project documentation and schedule.
- Prepare Electrical & Instrument/Piping documentation required for the Pre-commissioning package and Start Up activities (Post Shut Down)
- Verifies that the E&I requirements are accounted in the engineering documents, along with all the demolition scope
- Reviews the Vendors schedule and assignment, including Start-up and test run activities
Tasks:
- Define the Onshore Plant Brownfield Execution Plan
- Ensures that all activities within his area of responsibility are done in full compliance with the HSE requirements.
- Acknowledge the involvement of its job role in the PTW system and verify the safety measures described in the PTW for its job role involvement, including area preparation and restoration.
- Identifies, reports and follows up risks within his area of responsibility.
- Identifies and control hazards to avoid damage to equipment, personnel and the environment.
- Supervises the Piping, E&I, Demolition/Installation & Start-up activities according to the approved procedures and issue reports.
- Supports the Subcontractor and the Vendors for the execution of the activities
- Ensure that the services are carried out in strict compliance with Company and Client current HSE rules.
- Take part of site coordination meetings
- Ensure the Preparation of Maintenance reports for submission to Company.
- Ensure the movement of spare parts according to the requirements.
- Prepare appropriate reporting on the progress, and, if necessary, on difficulties encountered.
- Set-up the proper tools for the management of the punch lists, producing adequate reports to monitor the status of the punch list points (open, closed, closure forecast dates).
- Plan all the activities related to punch lists management, Perform the walkthroughs.
- Ensure that punch lists issued after walkthroughs are promptly notified and correctly drawn up and recorded.
- Ensure the correct classification of the punch lists and identify the owner for each point.
- Coordinate the assigned team, managing the interfaces with construction and engineering team to close the punch lists.
- Negotiate with the Client the punch lists and their classifications, in accordance with the contractual scope of work and project requirements.
What experience would we like you to have?
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree in Structural/Piping or Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
- Previous experience in onshore plants activities.
- Ability to propose decision on technical items, Resources, Procurement
- 10 years minimum of relevant work experience (in Onshore Facilities Modification/Brownfield work).
- Good knowledge of standard office software (MS Office, MS Project).
- Fluent in English Language – speaking & writing.
