Title: Interface Lead

What will you be doing?
Reporting to Project Manager, an Interface Lead Engineer provides technical and interface expertise to the project team, supporting all package managers assigned to specific scopes.
The requirement is to interface primarily with Customer, Consortium/JV partner (if applicable) Subcontractors and other Contractors at the worksite to ensure smooth and timely delivery of respective scopes.
Work may include co-ordination internally with package managers, SCM, Operations and technical leads to understand the latest scenario, actual progress and planned works for respective packages; be the focal contact for Customer, Subcontractors and Other Contractors at worksite to manage all interface related to design and execution.
SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES
• Interface with package managers, engineering, Operations and Project Manager internally
• Co-ordinate all the interface activities with Customer and/or Consortium Partner, key subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Responsible for identifying all interface activities, and ensure required actions are taken timely by responsible parties
• Developing and maintaining an Interface Register to identify all the details required to manage all interface activities and to monitor progress status until all interface activities are closed out
• Attend and organize regular meetings with Customer, key Subcontractors and Internal stakeholders.
• Focal point for input/output to/from Company Interface Management.
• Responsible for the tracking of the inputs and actions required
• Coordinate with the relevant project team members and update the PMT on progress.
• Be aware of the Overall project / Tender planning and responsible of the planning of his / her Scope of Work.
• Ensure progress and compliance of the supplier in close interface with SCM function
• Follow-up design activities, fabrications, and testing
• Under limited supervision, independently evaluates, organizes and prioritizes work.
• Ensure full traceability of the interface activities throughout the life of the project,
• Support Project Manager for external and internal interfaces (external: Clients, Subcontractors; Internal: other Disciplines, i.e. Operation, Analysis, Designer, HSE, SCM),
• Provides support to Offshore Installation Engineering Team during project operation, manage SIMOPs and interface with Drilling units (if applicable)
• Participate actively in engineers training and development,
• Proposes safe and innovative solutions allowing cost & risks reduction.
• Understand Supply Chain Management processes, key SCM commodity strategies, and project risk assessment/ mitigation processes.
• Operate within standardized engineering policies, processes and systems of the Business Management System (BMS),
• Ensure that specifications and scopes of work within the assigned Project scope have been reviewed and agreed by the relevant centers of competence and that all quality issues are captured in the relevant Quality Control Plan.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Ability to participate in the interfaces within a project structure, including other disciplines, drawing office, document control, project management, client and suppliers.
• Demonstrable ability to work within time/budget constraints.
• Ability to guide and Mentor graduates and junior engineers.
• Past Experience in Interface role on ARAMCO scopes or similar PMT roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or master’s in relevant engineering discipline.
• More than 12 years of overall working experience in oil and gas industry.
• Min 3 years of experience in similar role.
• Able to travel to either onshore or offshore sites when required
• Able to work extended hours occasionally to meet job / project requirement
