What will you be doing?
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Subsea7 is hiring a Marine Operations Scheduler that supports Subsea 7 Marine Operations Manager by preparing schedules and planning overall marine operation schedules.
All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works under the direction of the Marine Operation Manager, in the preparation of schedules in his areas of responsibility.
- Coordinates, reviews, and prepares the plans and schedules for the overall marine operations.
- Incorporates project schedules into marine operations schedule.
- Provides vessel daily movements plan to ensure each project aim the good progress.
- Provides vessel tracking activity as a basis for vessel performance evaluation.
- Checking & verify vessel timesheet submission for input to chartering department.
- Coordination with port captains for ensuring the vessel readiness through well preparation of vessel on-hire inspection & quarterly inspection to ensure the vessel are suitable following the schedule.
- Coordination with vessel owner regarding vessel readiness & maintenance schedule.
- Provides forecast plan update to the client on weekly basis.
What experience would we like you to have?
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Foundation degree in Supply Chain / Operations Management
- 5 Year experience in Operations scheduling (Offshore construction)
- Software experience in Primavera, Microsoft Project and Office

- Communication skills – able to communicate ideas and results to various stakeholders both in written reports and in meetings, presentations etc.
- The ability to work in a team as well as individually with a minimum of supervision

- Understanding of clients’ needs and ability to suggest and apply “fit for purpose” solutions
