What will you be doing?

Join us on this exciting opportunity in KSA! We are hiring a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Trainee.

The Graduate will be given training to be develop as SCM Specialist once confirmed. 

The main function of the Graduate is to assist the Project SCM Manager in developing the SCM Procurement Plans, attend Negotiations with Suppliers,  Liaising with Internal/ external stakeholders as required. Duties would also cover extensive data analysis & benchmarking in MS Excel. 

Key capabilities development related to Supply Chain Management, interaction with Tendering, Planning, Engineering, QHSE, Operations & Suppliers is envisaged.

Formal training courses
This is organized locally in Dubai and virtually and provides the opportunity to gain deeper insights of some key aspects related to Supply chain and Project Support functions.

Mentoring
You will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and support your progression. The mentor will maintain regular contact with you providing direction to help you achieve targets and goals.

Personal development
You will participate in project tasks to challenge your presentation and team building skills. Also network with other Subsea 7 personnel in different locations.
 

What experience would we like you to have?

Applications are now sought from degree qualified candidates who are holding a bachelor’s degree preferably in one of the following:
•    Supply chain management
•    Engineering with a related commercial subject

Candidates who are committed to a career choice in the Energy industry and possess the following qualities:
-    Proficient in English, with good oral and written communication skills
-    Excellent analytical skills 
-    Great attitude and willing to learn 
-    Great team work

Computer / IT Skills:
-    MS Excel (Good skills is an advantage, Word, PowerPoint)
-    SAP (plus skill but not mandatory)
