Title: HR Advisor

What will you be doing?
Reporting to HR Manager, the HR Advisor will be in charge of supporting Subsea 7 office in Egypt in fulfilment of their hiring needs & providing generalist HR advice and support.
- Assist in the delivery of an efficient, timely and accurate Human Resources services to managers and employees
- Provide advice and guidance on the application of HR policies and procedures, for example supporting disciplinary, grievance and absence processes, ensuring that procedures are followed
- Co-ordinate the day-to-day aspects of recruitment and selection process in alignment with budgets
- Assist with the implementation and development of initiatives, which promote and develop constructive Employee Relations in-country and between other Subsea7 business units with the HR Manager
- Ensure the Performance Management Review is embedded and that any training needs are documented and actioned by the Learning and Development team
- Participate in the implementation of any global HR initiatives such as Compensation and Benefits, Staffing, HR Policy and Process developments as applicable
- Undertake any other ad hoc projects as required by the business and directed by the HR Business Partner
- Keep abreast of trends, developments and issues related to people management
- Produce HR metrics and analysis HR data on monthly basis to identify trends and suggests appropriate interventions as necessary.
- Manage and oversee payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, and benefits. Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Degree in Human Resources preferred
- 3-6 years within a similar role, providing HR advice to management and employees
- Fluent English speaker
- Comprehensive understanding of Human Resources Information Systems particularly SAP SuccessFactors
- A good working knowledge of employment legislation and ability to interpret HR policies and procedures
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- The ability to demonstrate an adaptable approach and collaboration
- Proven ability to multitask and ensure effective delivery of priorities to meet operational demands
- Ability to work without direct supervision and to solve problems using own initiative.
- Ability to produce work of a presentable standard which is accurate and with an emphasis on attention to detail
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to review work methods in support of continually developing smart and efficient work methods.
