Title:  Logistics Administrative Controller

We have a newly created opportunity to support our Logistics team in Alexandria on a temporary basis. The Logistics Administrative Controller will be based at our Fabrication Yard in Alexandria with potential travel to project sites across Egypt, in line with project requirements.

 

This role will support the Mina West project until December 2026 and will operate via third party.

 

What will you be doing?

 

The Logistics Administrative Controller is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining work orders and accurate records to support the efficient movement of personnel, vessels, equipment, and materials in line with project requirements. The role ensures all logistics activities align with established processes, maintaining full accountability for the work order lifecycle while supporting project and service delivery needs.

 

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Arrange meetings and local movement of project team / visitors with close coordination with the security department as per guidelines.
  • Coordinate Port Passes and any other requirements for the entry into the port.
  • Support any ad-hoc requests as required by Project Operation Manager.
  • Issue and update Purchase request to support Operations and Logistics as requested.
  • Create, update, and follow all Work orders to ensure that necessary Service Orders are raised for the various transportation, Agency and other 3rd party services and approved.
  • Review Agent invoices relating to all logistics services and ensure correctness, verified by the end user and is in line with Work order and purchase order / frame agreements and create service entry sheet (SES) if required for approval of budget holder.
  • Check and Control work order to avoid any double issuance to Logistics Agencies.
  • Keep track of invoices from Logistics Agencies.
  • Support to maintain, update work order database of work order Master File on project basis.
  • Be responsible for the work order process to ensure that the same is being performed according to the defined process.
  • Ability to set up and manage electronic filing systems and maintain record of documents.

  • Graduate / Diploma holder or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar operational logistics role
  • Proficient IT skills with Intermediate knowledge of SAP and Microsoft 365 products
  • Thrives during busy periods, delivering results within challenging deadlines.
  • Proactive in responding to and supporting operational demands.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to contribute effectively in a cross-cultural management environment.
  • The role may require ad hoc travel so candidates should be flexible and available to undertake this as required.
  • Able to work on own initiative in remote locations if required.
