Overview
This opportunity has been created through the natural evolution of our team, as an internal move creates space for a new Recruiter to join Subsea7 within our Global Project Centre East (GPC East). Spanning a diverse region from Portugal to Australia and supporting stakeholders across four continents, the role is based in our Cairo, Egypt office and sits at the heart of complex, high‑impact projects. You will manage a broad recruitment portfolio, from graduate and early‑career intake through to senior management roles, offering exposure to hiring at every level of the organisation.

This position offers true ownership of the recruitment life cycle - partnering closely with business leaders to define critical hiring needs, proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and direct engagement, guiding candidates and stakeholders through selection, and ultimately bringing exceptional people into the business. Acting as a trusted adviser and ambassador for Subsea7, the Recruiter shapes hiring outcomes, builds resilient talent pipelines, and helps position Subsea7 as one of the most respected places to build a global career.
What you will be doing?
End to End Recruitment Delivery

Own the end‑to‑end recruitment life cycle across a diverse portfolio of roles, from initial role briefing and strategy alignment, through to offer management and on boarding handover.

Deliver high‑quality shortlists by applying effective sourcing, screening, structured interviewing, and assessment techniques aligned to business and project needs.

Manage recruitment processes with pace and accuracy, ensuring a positive, professional, and engaging experience for candidates and stakeholders throughout.
Sourcing & Talent Attraction

Proactively source talent across global markets using a range of channels, with effective utilisation of LinkedIn Recruiter and direct engagement to support Subsea7’s project and operational needs.

Build and sustain strategic talent pipelines to support long‑term hiring capability across critical disciplines and regions.

Apply market insight to support informed hiring decisions across the business.

Act as an ambassador for Subsea7, promoting opportunities and the employee value proposition.

Work proactively with key skill pools to anticipate future resourcing demands and advise stakeholders on effective sourcing solutions aligned to upcoming projects.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner to hiring managers across Subsea7 projects and functions, providing informed insight on global talent markets, candidate availability, and attraction strategies to support timely and effective hiring decisions.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with global HR teams to ensure recruitment activity aligns with project delivery requirements, onboarding needs, and longer‑term workforce plans.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through clear hiring plans, transparent communication, and a well‑coordinated end‑to‑end recruitment process across multiple locations and time zones.
- Support interview processes alongside hiring managers, applying structured assessment methods, objective feedback, and data‑led recommendations to enable consistent and confident selection decisions.
Process, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure recruitment activities are compliant with Subsea7 policies, local regulations, and best practice standards, and that recruitment activity supports Subsea7’s diversity and inclusion objectives by applying fair, objective, and bias‑free selection practices.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date data within SuccessFactors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Support workforce planning initiatives and contribute recruitment insight into broader people strategies.
What experience would we like you to have?

Minimum of five years’ experience in a recruitment role, gained in either an in‑house or agency environment.

Proven experience managing high‑volume recruitment within fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.

Demonstrated capability in sourcing and engaging candidates across international markets.

Skilled communicator, comfortable building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and candidates across different levels, disciplines, and nationalities.

Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively and handle shifting and competing demands during periods of high activity.

Fluency in both English and French, with the ability to operate professionally in a global context.

Exposure to project‑based, engineering, energy, or technical recruitment environments.
