What will you be doing?
Subsea 7 is looking for talented Human Recourses Business Partner with 8+ Years of experience for a position based in Dubai under the Human Resources Department – Part of the GPC – East Structure.
The HRBP supports the Human Resources (HR) Function through providing a dynamic, professional and strategic HR solutions to Management and employees, with the alignment of Subsea7 policy and relevant legislation.
The HRBP is expected to contribute to creating a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct. Furthermore, contribute to a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide Human Resource business partnering and expertise within the designated business area.
• Develops a constructive and professional relationship with all stakeholders and colleagues, interfacing with other Middle East business unit locations – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
• Ensuring the compliance and development of an accurate resource plan with the collaboration of business functions managers as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to business leaders and management on the recruitment, L&D, OD, rewards & benefits policies while ensuring compliance.
• Liaise with global Human Resources Business Partners to come up and develop local HR solutions.
• Support in the development of relevant HR plan, annual objectives and overall countries strategy.
• Responsible for the efficient, timely, accurate and cost-effective management and delivery of the function's activities within the designated area of responsibility, considering local employment legislation.
• Ensures the implementation of and adherence to Subsea7's Management System, professional tools, policies, systems and processes.
• Ensures accuracy and compliance of all HR data.
• Ensures Human Resources capitalises from lessons learned and is performed in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and integrity consistently.
• Participates in Territory and Global HR initiatives as and when required.
• Supports the standardization, compliance and efficiency of Functional policies, processes and systems across Subsea7.
• In collaboration with key stakeholders in the business unit, partner closely with hiring managers to address the sourcing, recruitment and retention of local talent.
• Deliver and implement Subsea 7’s performance management system.
• Identify and action development and training needs.
• In collaboration with key stakeholders in the business unit, develop & implement a plan/ program to recognise our people.
• Implement the global talent review practices locally.
• Human Resource business partnering to assigned business unit to understand their HR needs and provide effective HR solutions and interventions.
• Training line managers in HR and people management practice.
• In addition to the above, may have Specialist Responsibility for an area of HR Expertise.
• In collaboration with key stakeholders, support, review or implement where necessary to ensure integrity & compliance in HR operational areas such as:
o Transition of HR administration from in country to centralized Employee Services
o Standardized and consistent employment terms and contracts
o Visa compliance
o Induction
o Mandatory training
o Leave management
o Fair and consistent compensation & benefits in line with Group and Region policies, guidelines and processes.
What experience would we like you to have?
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources/business administration with 8+ of experience in the relevant field of HR with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Relevant previous experience in a HR advisory or generalist role; existing knowledge of the subsea or offshore industry would be an advantage.
• HR Certifications, Master’s degree, CIPD L7 is a plus.
