What will you be doing?

 

Subsea 7 is looking for talented Quality Control Senior Coordinator with minimum 0 years overall experience and 5 years as a Quality Control Inspector for positions in the Project Quality for welding discipline in the HSSEQ Department.

 

The Quality Control Senior Coordinator provides guidance and advice regarding the effective management of quality assurance and control, delivering quality management and improvement support to the projects and Functions within the designated area of responsibility. He shall have experience related to construction & installation activities at onshore and offshore for piping, structural and spool fabrication, onshore and offshore Pipeline installation, jacket and top side installation activities

 

Key Responsibilities

•    Support the development, maintenance and refinement of Local quality programmes and policies.
•    Responsible for the efficient, timely, accurate and cost-effective management and delivery of the function's activities within the designated area of responsibility. 
•    Implementation of Project Quality Management Plans and Audit Plans in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and internal Subsea 7 requirements, in liaison with project management team.
•    Assist construction and installation team in checking and addressing project quality requirements in line with approved procedure, specification and drawing.
•    Ensure all reportees are aware of the Quality requirements.
•    Ensure project quality requirements compliance for construction and installation phase of the project and effective implementation of the project quality management system.
•    Implementation of the Project Quality procedures.
•    Participating in audit as per audit plan.
•    Review Subcontractor Quality Management procedures, ITP etc. to ensure correct interpretation, implementation of Client / Subsea 7 requirements.
•    Coordinate with client inspection representative regarding construction and installation activities.
•    Appraise product quality in accordance with the specification, Technical Specifications, procedure, drawings, and Quality Plans.
•    Preparation of construction and installation Data book after completion of work.
•    Identify non-quality trends and advise Quality supervisor for resolution.
•    Establish effective corrective, preventive measures and corrective action plan to ensure that deficiencies do not re-occur. 
•    Verify closeout of punch list items at onshore and offshore.
•    Ensure Quality Records are signed-off by Client prior to handing them over.
•    Prepare weekly and monthly reports as per project requirement. 
•    Checking welding and welder’s performance of fabrication Onshore and Offshore sites, as required, including welding procedure qualification tests.
•    Responsible to carry out the inspection activities as per Approved ITP, recommended client specification and International Standard at various stages of fabrication and installation.
•    Carry out the receiving inspection as per approved procedure
•    Raising RFI and attending inspection as per approved ITP along with Client.
•    Identify Quality issue and record under IQF/SPI/INCR.

What experience would we like you to have?

 

Professional Qualifications and Experience:


•    A diploma / degree / qualification in Engineering / Quality Management.
•    Internationally accredited (i.e. IRCA or ASQ) Quality auditor training course and examination for ISO 9001 latest version.
•    CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 
•    ASNT NDT Level II in RT, UT, PT, VT & MT.
•    NACE qualification as per applicable discipline
•    Working experience as QC inspector of projects related to EPC Oil & Gas production, petrochemical projects 
•    Proficiency in reading, writing & speaking the English language.
•    Familiar with MS Office
•    Understanding of welding, NDT and coating.
•    Demonstrate mastery of the ISO 9001 QMS requirement.
•    Knowledge of international specification such as ASME Sec II, V, VIII and IX, AWS D 1.1, API 1104, B31.3, DNV, NACE etc.

•    Willingness and flexible to travel across the region and offshore for short assignments
