Title: Warehouse Assistant

What will you be doing?
The Warehouse Assistant activity among various departments internally and externally is to support Operations/Logistics and SCM activities that improve quality and service during the offshore campaign while reducing cost. The Warehouse Assistant has an interface with Operations, Logistics and Offshore Vessels to ensure the co-ordination, the tracking and follow up of equipment, materials and associated certification to be used during project execution.
Warehouse Assistant supports On and Offshore Operations based in Filyos Port and supports Project Operations Manager, Marine Base Manager, Logistics and SCM teams with functional responsibility detailed below.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintaining a Rigging Database whilst being the point of contact for project engineering to request rigging to be assigned for certain scopes and follow the segregation, certification and booking out to project.
- Update certification database for rigging with original and new certification and recording all details.
- Receive and book goods in to correct locations in an accurate and timely manner, liaising with project teams for any discrepancies or quality issues.
- Update yard certification tracking list to allow operational visibility of all equipment in Filyos Yard.
- Work with Onshore and Offshore teams to determine if equipment required has needed certification or to be allocated to a storage location and update online database.
- Manage status of the certifications when equipment is mobilized or demobilized from on and offshore.
- Supporting renewal of certifications with related functions (Operations, SCM, HSEQ etc.).
- Ensure all parties are informed in due time of the certification status, to allow smooth and efficient flow.
- Ensuring all materials arriving onsite that needs certifications are tracked.
- Ensure, jointly with Field Engineers and Project Engineers, that equipment is at site ready to use in terms of certification.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Strong knowledge of inspection reports, certifications and tracking.
- Excellent understanding of HSEQ rules both locally and internationally.
- Strong time management and communications skills.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint etc.).
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
- Experience with Inspection Reports and material terminology is desirable.
